Kenny Goolsby, Esq.
Kenny Goolsby has been practicing law in the Hampton Roads area since 2013. While initially
practicing mostly in the area of family law, he found his passion was in helping individuals with
financial stress find relief. His practice primarily focuses on helping individuals achieve
financial freedom through the opportunities available under the United States Bankruptcy Code.
Mr. Goolsby has filed over 1,500 bankruptcy cases in his career, successfully representing
individuals in both Chapter 7 and Chapter 13 proceedings en route to a fresh financial start.
Mr. Goolsby is originally from Gainesville, Georgia, but moved to Hampton Roads immediately
upon graduation from law school. He earned his law degree in 2013 from the T.C. Williams
School of Law at the University of Richmond, where he served as an editor on the Richmond
Journal of Law and the Public Interest. He received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Religion from
Boston University in 2009.
Mr. Goolsby, and his wife, Darah, have a daughter, and two Boston Terriers and live in
